Friends of Animals is calling for a boycott of the New York Boat Show, held=
at the Jacob Javits Center from January 1-5, as it is including the grotes=
que =93Swampmaster Gator Show=94 and exhibit in its lineup this year and pa=
ssing it off as educational. We are urging you to please contact those in =
charge of the NY Boat Show and tell them that this kind of “entertainment” =
is entirely unacceptable and that these alligators should not be abused and=
exploited. We have confirmed that the producers of the New York Boat Show =
are taking feedback from protesters into consideration and are looking into=
possibly cancelling the show. It only takes a second to take action agains=
t this abuse of alligators and could help cancel the show this week or have=
it dropped for next year. You can read more on our website. 1.Don’t supp=
ort tourist attractions like the New York Boat Show that feature alligator =
wrestling. 2.Make a call to NY Boat Show Manager Jonathan Pritko at 718.707=

ctor of communications, Sarah Ryser, 847.636.9790 and sryser@nmma.org Donat=

They sold their home and are currently living with the in-laws until they buy a new house. Grandma is allergic to cats and other family members are unable to take in the cats. The cats are in limbo until they buy their new home. Rachel and her husband are willing to compensate for food, litter, veterinary care but can’t afford the exorbitant cost of boarding the cats. If anyone is available to provide a temporary home for Rachel’s two cats, please contact her at: rachieal@yahoo.com or call 315-529-7550. Thank you, Julie Grinstead You may unsubscribe to the SARO_Events list at any time by sending an email to saro_events-unsubscribe@lists.riseup.net |
